Product Description:

MARKHOR Wall Putty is a high-quality, white
cement-based finishing material designed for smoothing walls and ceilings. It
provides an ideal base for paints and coatings by filling surface imperfections,

Surface Preparation:

  • Ensure the substrate is free of dust, grease, oil, loose
    particles, and old paint. Dampen the surface with clean water before application.
    Highly absorbent surfaces may require a primer or additional moistening to
    avoid rapid water absorption.

Mixing Instructions:

1. Pour clean water into a container.

2. Gradually add MARKHOR Wall Putty powder while stirring.

3. Mix with a low-speed electric stirrer until a lump-free, creamy paste is formed.

4. Allow the mix to stand for 5 minutes, then remix before use

Application Procedure:

1. Apply with a putty knife or trowel in thin, even layers.
2. For best results, apply in two coats. Allow the first coat to dry before
recoating.
3. Lightly sand after final coat is dry for an ultra-smooth finish.
4. Allow sufficient curing before applying primer and paint.

• Do not apply in direct sunlight or high humidity conditions.
• Use only clean tools and water for mixing.

1. Scope of Work

  • This method statement describes the procedure for the application of Wall Putty on interior and exterior surfaces to achieve a smooth and uniform finish suitable for subsequent painting or decorative coatings.

2. Materials Product:

3. Tools and Equipment

- Mixing bucket or container

- Electric mixer o paddle

- Steel trowel / putty knife

- Sandpaper / sanding machine

- Clean water
- Safety gloves and goggles

4. Surface Preparation

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles.
• Remove old paint, oil, or any contaminant that may reduce adhesion.
• Repair cracks or damaged areas before applying wall putty.

5. Mixing Procedure

• Pour clean water into a container.
• Slowly add wall putty powder to the water (approximately 2.5:1 powder
to water ratio).
• Mix thoroughly for 5–10 minutes until a smooth, lump-free paste is
